Export Journal and Experts logs

The following guide explains how to export your MetaTrader Journal and Experts history and export it for further analysis.

Export Journal logs

• First start by navigating to the "Journal" tab inside your MetaTrader terminal

  

• Next, right click anywhere inside the Journal tab and select Open

  

• You will now see a folder with all existing Journal logs:

  

• Now simply highlight / select all files in this folder (CTRL + A) and right click on any of the highlighted files:

  • Select the Send to option and then select Compressed (zipped) folder:

  

• Enter a name for the zip file (e.g. Journal)

  

Export Experts logs

• First start by navigating to the "Experts" tab inside your MetaTrader terminal

  

• Next, right click anywhere inside the Journal tab and select Open

  

• You will now see a folder with all existing Journal logs:

  

• Now simply highlight / select all files in this folder (CTRL + A) and right click on any of the highlighted files:

  • Select the Send to option and then select Compressed (zipped) folder:

  

• Enter a name for the zip file (e.g. Journal)
